The Glassbor CZ, s.r.o. company limited liability company, was incorporated in 1994. The company’s production is based on a unique glass-finishing technique – glazing – the origin of which can, in modern times, be traced back to Nový Bor. It involves glass cutting and engraving performed on both pure handicraft and artistic levels. Moreover, our employees use a wide range of other decoration techniques that have accumulated in the Nový Bor region during the centuries to become Glassbor’s most valuable assets.

This database was created as a pilot project of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic in support of cultural and creative industries. Its preparation and management was entrusted with the Museum of Glass and Jewelery in Jablonec nad Nisou , the only state institution specializing in these Unique and successful worldwide disciplines.
You will find not only an overview of producers and artists, but also tips on tourist destinations and museum expositions.
