The exhibition pays tribute to the craft of glassmaking while and visitors are given a vivid impression of a forest glassworks in the period from the 15th to 18th centuries. Also, the exhibition focuses on the production of glass, defunct glassworks in the area and the famous glasskaming family The Schürers.

This database was created as a pilot project of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic in support of cultural and creative industries. Its preparation and management was entrusted with the State Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou , the only state institution specializing in these Unique and successful worldwide disciplines.
