The Museum of Glassworks in Karolinka in Vsetín district reminds local history of this glass industry, which dates back to 1860. Visitors can see over two thousand objects, from glass through the tools necessary for its production, historical hand drawn catalogs or workbooks of local workers.

This database was created as a pilot project of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic in support of cultural and creative industries. Its preparation and management was entrusted with the State Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou , the only state institution specializing in these Unique and successful worldwide disciplines.
