Part of the museum exhibition focuses on glass from Orlické Mountains. It is conceived as a Research Laboratory of the history of glass, showing the results of more than twenty years of research work, including a five-year archaeological research on the extinct glassworks, situated on the very ridge of the Orlické Mountains. In the garden area of the museum you can see a small glass furnace for melting glass with wood.

This database was created as a pilot project of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic in support of cultural and creative industries. Its preparation and management was entrusted with the Museum of Glass and Jewelery in Jablonec nad Nisou , the only state institution specializing in these Unique and successful worldwide disciplines.
