Tomas Bata University in Zlín, which builds on the tradition of the Faculty of Technology founded in 1969, is a dynamically developing university that provides a wide range of studies in the humanities, science, technical and artistic disciplines at six faculties. It is a nationally high-ranking center of science and research and, in many aspects, on an international scale. It is attended by around 10 000 students. All forms of international cooperation are strongly supported: student exchange programmes, lectures and placements for teachers, cooperation on science and research projects and other.
